Q. Where on the island of Oahu will you travel?
A. I have and will travel just about anywhere if a patient needs my help. My primary area of operation is in East Oahu, Waikiki and surrrounding areas.
Q. Why do you make housecalls?
A. House calls offer a different experience for patients and for myself as a physician. They are a return to a tradition of caring for each other (which we in the islands call the "aloha spirit", emphasizing the concept of "ohana" or family). Also, certain individuals who are unable to travel, or bedridden, need the doctor to visit them in order to have basic medical care.
Q. Can you make a housecall if a patient has no insurance?
A. Yes, self or uninsured patients can make arrangements based upon an ability to pay.
Q. Do you have an office?
A. Yes. Our offices are located in downtown Honolulu at Century Square, at 1188 Bishop Street Suite 1603, on the corner of Bishop and Beretania, near Hawaii Pacific University, across from Verizon telephone building.
Q. Can you work with my doctor if I already have a doctor?
A. Yes, I can coordinate care with your doctor if he does not make housecalls. Oftentimes, physicians refer patients to me for this reason.
